Hofburg housed some of the most powerful people in Austrian history, including the Habsburg dynasty,
rulers of the Austro-Hungarian empire. One can only imagine the high tech surveillance systems and security guards the palace must have to ensure the safety of the President and other high ranking officials
It currently serves as the official residence of the President of Austria.
